Effective 16 October 2026. This policy describes LocalPix at https://pixcut.app.

Local image processing

Remove-background, convert, and compress tools are designed to run in your browser. LocalPix has no product API that receives your photo bytes for those tools. Downloading site JavaScript, CSS, and (when configured) model or WASM assets still makes normal requests to our hosting provider.

Cloudflare hosting

Pages and assets are delivered through Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes technical information such as IP address and request metadata to serve and protect the site. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for provider details.

Analytics

LocalPix uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic (page views, referrers, country, device type, and page-load performance). It is cookieless: it sets no cookies, uses no localStorage, and does not fingerprint or track individual visitors across sites. The beacon script loads from static.cloudflareinsights.com and reports to Cloudflare, which processes request data (such as IP address) only to produce aggregated statistics. We see only aggregate reports. Analytics never receive your images. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for details.

No advertising

LocalPix shows no ads and loads no advertising scripts. We do not use cookie-based tracking.

Cookies

We use only an essential sign-in cookie (lp_session, HttpOnly, 30 days), set when you sign in. Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless. See Cookies.

Accounts and payments

If you sign in or buy LocalPix Pro, we store only your email address, your plan and its status (including renewal date and Creem customer/subscription references), and a sign-in session cookie (lp_session, HttpOnly, 30 days) needed to keep you signed in. This data is held in Cloudflare D1. We never receive your images.

Payments are handled by Creem as merchant of record. Creem processes your payment card and billing details (name, billing address, country, tax data) under its own privacy policy; LocalPix does not see or store card numbers. Sign-in links are sent to your email through our email delivery provider.

The free daily background-removal counter is stored only in your browser's localStorage. To delete your account data, email us.

Open-source components

Background removal uses ormbg (Apache-2.0). HEIC support will use libheif-js / libheif (LGPL-3.0) with NOTICE and corresponding source or written offer — see Licenses.
