FAQ

Does my HEIC leave the device?

No. libheif-js WASM loads after you choose a file and decode stays in the tab. Your photo is not posted to LocalPix. Verify local · 0-byte upload proof.

Why might the JPG look sideways?

Some HEIC files store rotation separately. Check the preview before you attach it. Notes: iPhone HEIC to JPG.

The JPG is still too big for a form.

Quality defaults to 92. For a named cap, run the JPG through Compress to KB. 100 / 200 / 500 KB.
